Our firm specializes in the defense of motor vehicle, premises, general liability, construction, mass transit, product liability, municipal liability, education, toxic torts, insurance coverage, subrogation, workers' compensation, nursing home, and professional liability matters. We appear daily in Federal and State Courts in New York and New Jersey.
JEFFREY SAMEL & PARTNERS defends cases from their inception, expertly preparing pleadings, conducting depositions, overseeing investigation and physical examinations, and handling all pre-trial proceedings, including both non-dispositive and dispositive motions, as well as providing a vigorous and effective defense at trial and on appeal. We also work closely with our clients to identify those cases that are best resolved without protracted litigation, and strive to reach reasonable and appropriate settlements through court conferences, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and informal settlement discussions.
The firm has been retained to assume the defense of cases at every stage of litigation, even on the eve of trial or for the appeal of an adverse verdict suffered by other trial counsel.
