Richard Soberman has practiced law in New York for more than twenty-five years, and has developed an expertise in insurance coverage issues, premises liability, labor and construction, and commercial transactions. He has represented commercial and residential landowners, managing agents, and janitorial service companies in a variety of personal injury cases, including elevator and escalator accidents, falls involving window washers, and slip and falls arising out of weather conditions or allegedly improper maintenance and cleaning procedures.
Mr. Soberman has been of counsel to the firm since 1992, and was made a partner in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner in the law firm of Palmieri, Gavin & Soberman in New York.
