Ann Marie Lutz has practiced law in New Jersey and New York for two years, and joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 2004. During that time, she has gained experience in the areas of premises and motor vehicle liability, as well as municipal liability, and has conducted statutory hearings in personal injury claims brought against the City of New York. She has also made numerous court appearances in New Jersey on behalf of defendants in personal injury actions.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lutz served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terence P. Flynn, J.S.C., Superior Court, Essex County, New Jersey, during which time she obtained experience in juvenile detention and adjudication hearings and other criminal matters, and successfully mediated small claims civil matters as well.
Ms. Lutz also obtained experience in sexual harassment issues during the course of a 2001 summer internship at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in New York; in various criminal issues as a summer intern at the New York City Police Department’s Legal Bureau in 2002; and in elder abuse, white collar crime, and fraudulent activity arising out of the World Trade Center disaster in an internship at the New York District Attorney’s Office in 2002.
